ENGLAND: Norton and The Hundred House

Written by Laszlo, 12 May 2019

I bet you didn't know that Katie, among other things, is also a wedding videographer and has her own wedding videography business (KAE Films). We often film weddings together, and when we are out somewhere on a 'shooting day' where we have never been before, I tend to sneak out and do a little sign hunt. Check out this video and see how much fun it is. I have also done a little behind the scenes wedding video for Katie; check this one out too.

You know now that we film weddings too, so this will not surprise you that a few days ago we were in Norton and filmed another one! We spent about ten hours there and since Norton is only a tiny village situated between Telford and Bridgnorth, we had time to explore it and I also had the chance to walk up to the sign and take a photo of it.

Norton is probably most famous for being the home to The Hundred House (this is where the wedding took place). The venue is a traditional English country pub, restaurant and hotel. Yew Tree Farmhouse (that is behind the pub) with a charming flower and herbs garden is privately owned but the public can access it freely.

This small selection of photos that I present to you here today is taken in Norton. A few shots give you an idea of the village itself and then more photos present the pub, the wedding venue (The Barn) and the gardens. Enjoy this little exploration.
