ENGLAND: Pattingham recoloured
Written by Laszlo, 2 January 2018
I worked yesterday, so I missed out on the first of January post, but hey, I still had a little time to pose with a sign (see the photo on Twitter). And of course, Happy New Year to everyone who reads my lines!
Today, I have mostly been chilling and catching up with my projects, and while trying to understand how to play the mandolin, I have been thinking what sign hunting photos I should post on here. Originally, I wanted something winter/new year-related, but as I was going through my archives, I found a folder containing lots of photos of Pattingham, which is a small village near Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. I took these photos almost four years ago, but back then I did not like how they turned out (too grey, too dull, not much life in them), so I recoloured them, which gave a completely different feel to the pictures. Eventually, I have decided that I would share these photos with you and I hope they will bring some colours to your grey, British wintery days.
Also, Pattingham has got the standard shaped and coloured limit signs, but it has also got a nice, wooden one too. I have decided that I did not want to disturb the overall experience of these images so there will be no photos of myself with a sign. Enjoy!
