WALES: Exploring Conwy

On Monday the 17th September 2018, I am taking the train to Conwy, North Wales, and in the following next few days, I will walk back from here to Gobowen. The Conwy-Gobowen walking adventure will involve around 80 miles which I expect to carry out in three days. It is not about rushing, it is about completing it while I enjoy every second to explore everything that comes in my way between A and B.

But this is not the first time for us in Conwy. In August 2015, we stayed there for a night and explored the small but beautiful Welsh settlement.

Conwy is a walled market town situated by the River Conwy (originally called as Cynwy) estuary. Among others, it is famous for its Edwardian Castle and town walls, the Suspension Bridge designed by Thomas Telford, the Aberconwy House which is a medieval merchant's house and being one of the oldest houses in Wales, Plas Mawr an Elizabethan townhouse which dates back to the 16th century, and the the Smallest House in Great Britain which is known as being named so in the Guinness Book of Records (now known as Guinness World Records).

A relatively small town but with a lot of things to see and enjoy. The following photos will take you to Conwy and guide you through its sight as we saw them in August 2015. Enjoy!
